This
warranty is valid for the original customer/purchaser only.
Supreme
Comfort guarantees your new sleep system will be replaced or repaired
at our option without charge to you should it be defective because
of faulty workmanship or manufactures defects during the first *Ten(10)
years of your warranty on the Contour-pedic line, other
than specific limitations contained herein. It is understood that
this does not include a normal increase in softness in the Foam
material. It does cover any deterioration of the foam, which may
cause the mattress to have a visible indention of greater than 1
inch not associated with a sag in the foundation, box spring, or
platform. If such a defect appears, or should any other malfunction
due to faulty workmanship appear during the remaining years of this
limited warranty, we will repair or replace the mattress, at our
option, at a handling cost to you the customer. The following prorated
Warranty allowances will apply from the 11th year forward.
PRO-RATED

- 15th year you pay 50% of the MSRP

- 20th year you pay 60% of the MSRP
21st
- 25th year you pay 70% of the MSRP
26th
- 30th year you pay 80% of the MSRP
31st
year and so on you pay 90% of the MSRP
This
warranty is void if the product has been tampered with or misused
beyond reasonable wear, and shall not apply if the product has been
physically damaged; including burns, cuts, or is abnormally soiled
or unsanitary. This warranty also does not apply to any product
being used in a commercial setting such as hotels, motels, boarding
homes, nursing homes and similar environments.This warranty is valid
only for the original purchaser of the product and only if the product
is being used in a normal residential environment. All transportation
costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. All warranty claims
must be accompanied by proof of purchase. Please retain this warrantee
along with your receipt for as long as you live.
What
is covered:
Supreme
Comfort warrants that your mattress and/or foundation will be free
from defects in materials and workmanship for a prorated period
(shown above) beginning from the original purchase date.
What
is not covered:
Conditions
arising from normal wear and tear. (Conditions arising from normal
wear and tear include, but are not limited to, mattress cover compression,
foam compression of less than one inch or discoloration of components.)
Damage
from tampering with or opening the warranted product or component.
Damage
from misuse or abuse of the warranted product or component.
Damage
from laundering or dry-cleaning. Acts of God, such as but not limited
to lightning
damage.
Further,
the warranty does not cover costs associated with shipping or transportation
of replacement components, removal or installation costs, loss of
time, loss of use, loss of revenues, inconvenience or other incidental
damages. Neither does the warranty cover deterioration due to normal
wear and tear, damage by misuse, neglect, acts of God, exposure
to moisture or extreme heat, abuse and other occurrences beyond
the control of Supreme Comfort.
What
you must do:
Contact
our warranty department at 845-834-2171 or fax your request to 845-834-2172.
Please include: name, address, contact numbers, date of sale, product
model, size and the problem you are having. Note: you will be responsible
for sending the problem components one of our locations which will
be determined upon request.
What
we will do:
The product will be repaired or replaced at Supreme Comfort's option,
the defective product or component at a cost to the original purchaser
based on the above table. The "price" is the MSRP price
of the defective product or component at the time the warranty claim
is made, or the price of a comparable product or component if the
original product or component is no longer in production.
Supreme
Comfort reserves the right to substitute products or components
of equal or better quality, in the repair or replacement of any
product under this limited warranty.
What
will void this warranty:
Tampering
with or opening components of the warranted product or component.
Misuse
or abuse of the warranted product or component or use in a non-residential
environment.
Sale,
transfer or other disposal of the warranted product or component.
Limitations:
Your
exclusive remedy, IN LIEU OF ALL INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, INCLUDING FOR NEGLIGENCE, is limited to repair or replacement
of any product or component deemed to be defective under the terms
and conditions stated above. Supreme Comfort will bear no other
damages or expenses.
Supreme
Comfort reserves the right to refuse to repair or replace any product
or component that is returned in an unsanitary condition.
This
Limited Warranty applies only to the product as used in the United
States and Canada. It is not applicable in U.S. territories or other
countries.
This
Limited Warranty is non-transferable.
Repair
or replacement of a product or component under the terms of this
limited warranty in no way lengthens the limited warranty period.
ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY.
*Air
chambers, compressors and mattress covers carry a 2-year full warranty.
The first prorating period for chambers, pumps and covers start
from the 3rd through 10th year and is 50% of the "MSRP" (From year
11 on see above schedule).
Please
Note: Leggett & Platt or any of our adjustable bases carry a
20 year limited warranty from the manufacture. After the 20 year
manufactures warranty ends the above pro-rated period begins and
continues for as long as you own the product.
Foam
toppers and foam pillows are warranted for 3 years. Covers on toppers
and pillows are warranted for 2 years.
From time
to time Supreme Comfort will change the design, specifications and
materials as conditions require and improvements are developed,
without obligation to make similar changes to products previously
manufactured. If a warranty claim is filed after a product has become
obsolete, or has undergone design changes, we reserve the right
to Honor the warranty in one of the following manners:
- To replace the affected component with a new
component of the same style.
- To replace the affected component with a component
that is as similar and comparable in style as possible.
If components
are replaced, we cannot guarantee that the finish/color of the new
component will match the finish and appearance of existing product.
